One of the most emotional and contentious issues facing women of our day is the issue of abortion. Governments are involved, public opinion is being swayed to be either “pro-choice” or “pro-life.” Personal decisions are made every day concerning abortion. Perhaps you are in the very throes of such a decision at this very moment. Feelings of confusion and questions are running through your mind or perhaps you are sure abortion is the answer because every woman has a right to decide. What is scientifically correct? What is the true feminist stand? What is the moral obligation? There are definite answers to these questions.
From a scientific point of view, the fetus from the moment of conception is composed of human DNA and other human molecules, making it undeniably human, not a “blob” or some type of transitional form or entity. The fetus is biologically alive, clearly a living organism. Furthermore, the genetic composition of each child is completely different from any other human being who has ever existed, defining the maturing fetus as uniquely distinct from the mother. Consequently, the child is a person, not the property of the mother to dispose of if she see fits.
From a feminist point of view, abortion promotes sexual exploitation and promiscuity, heartache and confusion. Planned Parenthood and other abortion promoters are doing so for financial gain, family destabilization, and population control, not for the welfare of the mother. That is why they don’t offer alternatives. That is why they are adamant against ultrasounds of the fetus. That is why they don’t explain the actual details and side effects of an abortion. Let us look at the facts:
Abortion methods: medical abortion, suction abortion, dilation and curretage, dilation and evacuation, intracardiac injection, partial birth abortion. In the majority of these procedures, the child is suctioned or torn to pieces and evacuated. In others, he is chemically burned to death.
A major study showed that women who had abortions were 6 times more likely to die by suicide than women who had given birth.
Women who had abortions had a 30% higher incidence of mental health problems, according to a 30-year study in New Zealand.
“Minor” complications include: minor infections, bleeding, fevers, chronic abdominal pain, gastrointestinal problems, vomiting, and Rh sensitization.
Major complications: infection, excessive bleeding, embolism, ripping or perforation of the uterus, anesthesia complications, convulsions, hemorrhage, cervical injury and endotoxic shock.
Long term effects: higher risk of breast cancer, ectopic pregnancy and miscarriage, can include substance abuse and relationship problems. Contrast that with the fact that Ireland has one of the lowest maternal mortality rates (1 in 100,000), directly related to no legal abortions.
Numerous personal testimonies assert that numbers of women are not made aware of the actual procedure and potential complications associated with an abortion when at the abortion clinic obtaining their abortion. Besides, Planned Parenthood has been caught lying to women about abortion risks as well as fetal development when discussing abortions in general. They could care less. What they care about is their annual 1.3 billion dollar profit, not the annual estimated 300,000 plus abortions performed in the U.S.A. by Planned Parenthood alone.
Besides the physical and mental attack on women’s health, some abortionists promote eugenics, racism, gendercide, and sex trafficking. The founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, espoused the thinking of eugenics similar to Darwin, and her lover, Havelock Ellis (a eugenicist, sociologist and sexologist) concerning human society. Here are some direct quotes by Margaret Sanger:
On blacks, immigrants and indigents “…‘human weeds,’ ‘reckless breeders,’ ‘human beings who should never have been born.’” Pivot of Civilization
“The purpose in promoting birth control was to create a race of thoroughbreds.” Birth Control Review, Nov. 1921(p.2).
“We do not want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population.” Women’s Body, Women’s Right: A Social History of Birth Control in America by Linda Gorton
According to the Guttmacher Institute, a pro-abortion facility, abortion disproportionately affects black/Hispanic women. There is a reason for this. Also, it is no coincidence that most abortion clinics in the U.S.A. are located in minority neighborhoods. Any other countries supporting abortion will locate their abortion clinics in their minority neighborhoods that they want to depopulate.
There are numerous quotations by Margaret Sanger that support extermination and sterilization of the handicapped, poor, impoverished, babies from large families, and sterilization. She is the founder of Planned Parenthood, and all the abortion clinics in existence espouse her philosophy. The hidden motive is not to support a woman’s right, but rather, to use her as a puppet concerning the system’s agenda to control women and the population; they could care less about the girls and young women involved. This is further evidenced by the purposeful support of the use of sex-selective abortion. By some estimates, there are as many as 160 million girls missing worldwide due to abortion, which amounts to gendercide. The culprit, Newsweek says, is sex-selective abortion. Planned Parenthood and the “pro-choice” support sex-selective abortions in the name of “women’s rights.” And while a “woman’s right” is the motto, the abortionists do absolutely nothing to prevent the forced abortions of multitudes involved in sex trafficking against their will, but rather cater to the pimp’s control of the women for selfish monetary gain–for the pimp, as well as the abortion industry. And now we are seeing the slippery side of this behavior advance as it opens doors to other avenues of perverted male control; one such example is a male doctor in Ireland currently pressing for legalization of female genital mutilation in the name of the “woman’s right” or welfare for her health, which is absolutely ludicrous, yet synonymous with the same arguments the abortionists give for abortion.
From the moral perspective, it is wrong to harm either the woman or the baby for monetary gain. Ninety-seven percent of abortions are due to inconvenience; they are rarely done because the life of the mother is at stake. It causes the woman to bear all the consequences, including an invasive procedure which is likely to be life changing and painful in every way. It also promotes lack of commitment. Society has become humanistic and selfish, where life is devalued.
You, as a woman, know in the depths of your heart that there is a baby in your womb, and you are his/her mother. There are compassionate answers, however difficult your situation. Abortion has led to increased suicides and euthanasia as the depopulation agenda of the world system has been empowered. Consider that you as well as your baby have a soul that is beyond value.
