Gathering of God's People


In the early morning church, there was only one visible body of true believers, who were separated only by geographical location. After time, apostasy crept in and eventually developed into the dark day of Catholicism and later, the cloudy day of Protestant sect making, resulting in a scattering of the sheep into denominations.

Jeremiah 50:6
“My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill [from one sect to another], they have forgotten their resting place.”

Jeremiah 23:1
“Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the Lord.”

This world has been so darkened by long centuries of apostasy that people have forgotten the normal state of the church–the sheep are to be in one fold.

John 10:16
“And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.”

Ephesians 1:10
“That in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ...”

God is calling His true sheep out of all religious confusion [spiritual Babylon] back to the one fold.

Revelation 18:4
“Come out of her my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”

In this end-time, God has raised up a ministry that is sounding forth the message of God, calling the scattered sheep home. This is a sign of the Lord’ soon coming.

Matthew 24:31
“And he shall send his angels [messengers, or ministers] with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
