Restoration

Most honest souls admit, as they view modern “Christiandom,” that something is wrong. Many are praying for revival in their movements because they know things are not as they should be, according to the Bible. The early morning church had power and doctrinal clarity, which, after long centuries of apostate conditions, were lost to a large degree. There is no question that the visible church needed to be restored in a manifest way.

God moved in a special way through church history to again bring light to the people. Many in Martin Luther’s time broke free from the papal yoke when they realized that the just live by faith. More light followed in the time of John Wesley concerning holiness of living, wherein the inbred nature of sin could be cleansed through sanctification. Further truth was revealed in the late 1800's when D.S. Warner and others received light on the unity of believers in the one church, the body of Christ. God wonderfully worked during this time of the reformation of the church of God. Many souls left sect Babylon, walked in holiness, and God’s presence was in their midst. With time, after D.S. Warner’s passing, compromise crept in and the glory departed. The powerful message of truth was silenced (Rev. 8:1).

The spiritual devastation this silence caused cannot be fathomed. It is evidenced everywhere–worldliness and compromise mark religious movements worldwide. Disunity and doctrinal fogginess are the norm. Lukewarmness, lack of vision and lightness is evidenced from the pulpit to the pew. In short, the world is spiritually asleep, and there is a dearth in the land for the hearing of the pure Word of God from ministers who are truly heaven-sent.

God has looked down on all of this, and in the 1980's started to again move in a very special way, in mercy to mankind. He is presently restoring His visible church according to divine prophecy: “And the seventh angel sounded...” Rev. 11:15-19. “But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.” Revelation 10:7. The Revelation is a history of the New Testament church, in which seven trumpets were to sound. The last one is now sounding and will continue to sound until the Lord comes back to call this world into judgment.

God has raised up a ministry who are fearlessly preaching the truth. Hungry souls are rejoicing at its sound and walking in its light. We are witnessing a restoring of home life, the purity and separation of God’s people, modesty of dress and conduct, the unity of believers in the one, visible church. The glory of God is coming down in our meetings and the high praises of God are on our lips. God is restoring the gifts to the church (I Corinthians 12:28), “first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers,” etc., thereby putting church government in its biblical place and bringing believers “unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:8, 11-14.) Many are obtaining real Bible salvation and are leaving the parched land of sectism to drink of the living streams in Zion. Children and young people are being saved, sanctified and unworldly.

We are witnessing a working of God and a glory in the midst of His people that we at one time thought would never be possible in our day. We are humbled at the privilege of being a part of this prophetical move of God and are yet reaching out to be restored more fully, both individually and collectively. We invite every honest soul to join us in Zion, the church of the living God. Come and witness for yourself the restoration work that God is doing in this end time.
