The Lord blessed and encouraged the congregation of saints this morning as Apostle Ray Tinsman preached on, He that Overcometh.
Revelation 2:7, 11, 17, 26 (These verses are all referring to promises to the overcomers.)
You say you don’t know what you are called to do, you don’t know what your place is in the body, but we know one thing; you’ve been called to be an overcomer. And overcomers will be pillars in the Church of God. What am I supposed to do? Overcome! How can I be spiritual? Overcome! There is grace to be an overcomer, even in temptation.
Isaiah 28:16 “Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.”
A stone that has been tried and tested has already gone through the trials of life. You will never go through anything that this Cornerstone hasn’t already gone through. You can anchor yourself to the foundation that is in Zion. If there’s any failure, it’s because you have disconnected yourself from the foundation. Life is full of floods, but there is a foundation that if you hold on to it, it is sure!.
It’s abnormal and strange for someone to backslide. It’s normal to go on from glory to glory.
2 Peter 1:3–10
You can be eternally secure, if you keep on adding to your experience.
You are surrounded by stones. When the storms of life are blowing, grab a hold of the stones. Get a hold of the saints; hold on to them till the storm is past.
“I’d rather be a fool and profess something I didn’t possess, than to throw my hands up and give it all up.” Quote from Brother Ray
Romans 5:20 “Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.”
At the very place where sin abounded, grace did much more abound. When the devil comes along and reminds you of the past, throw this scripture at him.
2 Corinthians 12:9 “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”
Sufficient for what? ANYTHING!
If you would just hang on to the eternal foundation, you can be saved from now all the way to the end!
Matthew 18:10 “Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.”
You have angels beholding the face of the Father, looking for any signs or instructions, waiting to come to your aid. Jesus had angels when He was agonizing in the garden. If He needed angels, so do we. That’s how you get songs in the night. They come and sing to you.
You’ve never prayed a prayer that the Lord doesn’t answer. The answer is always yes, no, or wait.
1 Peter 3:12–13 “For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?”
There’s nothing that can steal from you the graces of God against your will.

This morning Brother Kyle Bontrager delivered the burden of the Lord in a message titled, Cleanse Your Hands, Ye Sinners.
We live in a real world with real people and have to make real choices. We have to decide to serve God or the world.
Matthew 6:24 “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”
We live in a world filled with sinners. If you’re not saved, you are a sinner by choice.
James 4:8 “Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.”
Before you get saved, there’s a work that you have to do. You have to cleanse your hands and draw nigh to God.
Isaiah 59:2 “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear.”
There comes a time in everyone’s life where you have to make a decision for yourself, if you’re going to go against God. The things you have allowed to come out of your mouth, where you have allowed your feet to carry you… these things have separated you from God.
Luke 15:11–19, gives us the account of the prodigal son.
If you are a sinner, you have made the decision to spend your life in riotous living. Sin has never taken anyone to anything good. You have to make the first move, and when you make the move, God will most assuredly meet you.
While you are yet in sin and know you are doing things that go against God, you must forsake them. You must cleanse your hands. God will not meet you on your conditions, but you must meet Him on His conditions.
It’s impossible for someone to hold on to the things that have taken him away from God, and try to meet God at the altar of prayer.
Luke 3:8 “Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance.”
God has never rejected anyone who has brought forth the proper fruits.
If you are a sinner, you should have an urgency to cleanse your hands because we are running out of time.
If you want God to hear you, you will have to turn away from sin.
God will see your heart, if you turn away from the things that bind you in sin, and He will meet you at the altar of prayer.
Tonight Apostle Ray Tinsman preached a powerful message to the unsaved, backsliders, those who are thinking about backsliding, and them who may think about backsliding in the future. The message was titled, The Awakened Conscience.
Sin is a trap and not to be played with. It’s a miracle for a backslider to get saved. You are a human who has a conscience that’s molded and shaped in various ways. Giving up sin is one of the first things that happens when the conscience is awakened. An awakening is not salvation.
The word, conscience has to do with the word, co-awareness.
Luke 16:26–31 speaks of the rich man and Lazarus. The only thing we see that was against this man was, that he was rich. Some scholars believe this rich man and the rich young ruler that came to Jesus and asked what he must do to inherit eternal life, to be one and the same.
There are people who have looked eyeball to eyeball with their death, and have cursed God until their last breath. People come to the meetings of the saints, probably know certain individuals, know first-hand of the change that has taken place in them, being raised from death to life. They see the shine on the faces of the saints, and yet, some dare to sit through the service and snicker, criticize the preaching, or decide to harden themselves. Some go away laughing, or offended. There are people who are sleeping on the brink.
1 Timothy 4:2 “Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.”
People’s consciences have been seared; nothing can enter in. This is the reality of most people you see wherever you go.
Proverbs 23:35 “They have stricken me, shalt thou say, and I was not sick; they have beaten me, and I felt it not: when shall I awake? I will seek it yet again.”
John Newton was a vile sinner. Among his many of sins, he was an African slave trader. After he got saved he wrote, “T’was grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved.”
A person coming to their senses and having even a little fear, is a great miracle. There is a miracle that takes place when the spiritually dead person begins to hear a voice.
Romans 1:21 “Because, that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.”
Romans 1:24 “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves.”
These individuals violated their own conscience. If you don’t stop doing what you know is wrong, God will also give you up to vile affections.
If you don’t care about going to hell, God will turn every light green for you from here all the way to hell, and you’ll walk on a flowery bed of ease, and end up in torment. Don’t even try to get saved until you are sick of your sins and you are ready to give them up.
Certain individuals in our midst who have been in a backslidden state for some time now, sought help at the altar of prayer. One victoriously broke through in prayer. It was a beautiful sight to behold him getting up from his knees saved, with tears streaming down his face.
Glory to God!

Thank the Lord for His manifold blessings upon the congregation this evening. His presence was undeniably in our midst tonight from the very beginning to the end.
Tonight, Apostle Ray Tinsman preached boldly in the Holy Ghost on, The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
We live in a very peculiar and strange society. The Lord made us to need one another. We weren’t meant to be alone. We are more than just animals. You can easily put an animal into a cage all alone for days and give it food, but you can’t do that with people.
The world is in vast confusion. We have people who only know their pastor through a television set.
God is not so personal that you have Him all to yourself. There is a god that’s real personal that you can have all to yourself, and that is the god of your belly.
Exodus 3:1–6, 15
Here we have the account of God speaking to Moses through the burning bush.
It wasn’t some abstract being that had come down as a ghost that revealed itself to Moses, but He was the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Moses recognized that it was important, if he was going to carry the message on, he had to know who it was that was talking to him.
2 Kings 2:6–15
In today’s world Elisha doesn’t need Elijah. They have their own God and their own altar.
Elisha could have taken the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but he wanted something closer. That’s why he said, “Where is the Lord God of Elijah?”
It used to be the name on the church sign told you exactly what they believed and stood for. Now you go by and see the name and it doesn’t mean anything.
If you’re going to be saved, you’ll be connected to a God Who is connected with His people.
Acts 3:1–6 “…And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us…”
For the lame man to be healed, he had to move his physical eyeballs and look to the two men—Peter and John.
Acts 10:1–6 “…And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter…He shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.”
You’re not going to get all your answers from God. He’ll tell you enough to get you to the man who will tell you more.
Song of Solomon 1:7–8 “Tell me, O thou whom my soul loveth, where thou feedest… If thou know not, O thou fairest among women, go thy way forth by the footsteps of the flock.”
The Lord won’t give you a pan and a sack of food where you are. You need to go where the flock is.
Acts 9:3–6 “…Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.”
God told Saul just enough to get him to the right place. If you’re going to go to heaven, you’ll have to do what the people of God tell you to do.
1 John 4:6 “We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; and he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.”
Galatians 3:29 “If ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
If ye are of Christ, ye belong to the Church of God. God has commissioned us as His people to carry forth the gospel. If you’re going to go to heaven, you’ll have to join us. The imagination of your mind is not going to get you there.

The saints were blessed this evening as Brother Kyle Bontrager preached on, Remove Not the Ancient Landmarks.
You look out in the world and you don’t see many friends and lovers of the truth.
“Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.”
There’s a real war on everyone, but the devil is especially targeting the men.
Cain knew he had trespassed against what God had set. He knew he was supposed to bring a lamb for an offering.
Ezekiel 22:30 “And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.”
There have always been those who have warred against what God has set in place.
When you think of a man, strength should come to your mind. It takes a real man to stand against the flow.
There’s the temptation to dull the edge. There’s a temptation to become relaxed and conformed to this world.
Brother Kyle stated that when everyone else is bowing to the demands of society and the system of this world, he will be one who stands up.
It takes a real heart of a man to stand up against those who are not being what they should be.
Romans 16:17 “Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.”
There are people who are around for no other reason than to cause division, and to cause a bad influence. There ought to be something inside of you that rises up when someone brings in any other doctrine contrary to the doctrine of the church of God.

We’ve been greatly anticipating our chief apostle, Elder Ray Tinsman’s arrival to hold us a meeting here in Steinbach, Manitoba, and the day has finally arrived!
We had an excellent start to the meeting as Brother Ray preached a soul-searching message entitled Passion for Restoration. He stated that there are some temptations that he just doesn’t deal with. Smoking a cigarette, drinking beer, fornication or adultery aren’t a temptation. But the temptation is to be “normal.”
Those who lack in passion are normally those who are riding the fence.
Some people in the world get passionate about sports. People go on a certain diet and maintain a certain weight because they’re passionate about something.
Luke 22:39–45. In this passage we have the passion of our Lord Jesus Christ. While He was agonizing with great drops of blood, others were sleeping. It’s discouraging to be moved with such emotions only to look over and see others unmoved.
In John 3:16, we see the passion of God by His giving His only begotten Son as a sacrifice.
Luke 7:36–38 tells us of the account where the woman anointed the feet of Jesus. Yes, it was the blood of Jesus Christ that saved this woman, but it also was her passion. When you get moved you’ll get outside of yourself and do things you normally wouldn’t do.
John 2:13–17. Jesus’ passion caused Him to drive these people out with a scourge. He was eaten up with a zeal. Are you eaten up? Saints need to be eaten up. Tender feelings need to be stirred.
Brother Ray gave us the example of Samson. Yes, he had messed up. The Philistines took his strength and his eyes. But while he was leaning against those poles, his blood was boiling. He had a zeal and took revenge on his enemies.
Jeremiah said, “Oh, that my head were waters.” He was moved with a passion.
While some are burning the candle on both ends, others are going along their way whistling.
Brother Layne said, “Do something, or the devil will.”
When you’re moved with a passion you don’t care if you’re in order or not. There’s more out of order silence than out of order noise in our meetings.
Our passion will affect how we spend our money.
Passion for restoration ought to be your heartbeat. If we’re going to win the lost before the Lord comes back, we’ll have to be passionate for restoration.
Much help was sought around the prayer bench after the message.
